ASBPE Winter Workshop Canceled

March 11 seminar may be rescheduled; Houston-area editors can attend local panel meeting in spring.

The American Society of Business Publication Editors Winter Workshop, which was originally scheduled for March 11, has been canceled.

Many individuals expressed interest in attending the workshop, but due to conflicts — spring break and business travel being the most cited reasons — the number of registrants is not as high as needed for the organization to be able to host the workshop. ASBPE regrets having to cancel the workshop at this time, but please keep your eye on this web site for rescheduling.

For individuals in the Houston region, the local chapter will host its next panel discussion later this spring. Information about upcoming topics and meeting dates will be posted on the Houston section of this site.

Throughout the course of the year, the officers/board members will be touching base with you to help raise awareness about ASBPE and participate on panels similar to the scope we were looking at for the workshop.

We encourage all ASBPE members, and those interested in our programs, to consider attending the National Conference in Chicago, July 20 to 21. Details are here.
