Web-first: Changing your workflow, your attitude, and your future
Paul Conley, B2B media consultant and blogger

Learning to work on the Web is only the first step in transforming your career. More important — and perhaps more difficult — is learning to merge the Web into your entire working life.

In his keynote, Conley will discuss:

  • How newsrooms are mimicking the best of the electronic wire services.
  • The bad news (you’re going to have to work harder).
  • The good news (there are endless opportunities for advancement and wealth).
  • How to change the way you and your publication manage time and deploy resources.
  • What jobs your bosses are looking to cut — and how to protect yourself from layoffs.
  • The ethical Web challenges B2B journalists face.

10:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m.
