Job Requirements
Stagnito Media announces a position opening for Associate Editor in its
or Qualifications Engineering Media Department, which provides business to-business resources on multimedia platforms, including magazines, e-newsletters, webcasts, and websites.
Position responsibilities include the following:
- Planning and writing and/or editing articles for magazines, websites and e-newsletters, and posting content online
- Tracking and processing copy through production process, working with art directors and production to layout print articles, fit copy, and incorporate edits
- Helping to build continuity between the print magazines and the websites, and promoting the resources we offer through social media
- Contributing to the creative development and execution of special projects, webcasts, and websites
- Pursuing cross publication and reverse publishing opportunities with our various products and brands
Position qualifications include the following:
The candidates we seek must have a strong editorial background, including knowledge of and experience with writing for print and the Web, copywriting, article writing, and proofreading. Position requires experience working with art directors and managing copy through the production process; experience with website administration systems; and basic knowledge of posting, sharing, and linking photos and online content. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organization skills. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications and prior work experience. Experience with business-to-business publishing a plus.

The ideal candidate would be a former or current trade journalist, or a writer familiar with B2B writing who has a background in one of the industries listed below. We’re looking for industry experts who also have familiarity with HTML and previous online publishing experience.
