The American Copy Editors Society will hold its 19th annual national conference March 26-28, 2015 in Pittsburgh. The ACES conference will explore the theme of “Getting It Right,” with tracks focused on topics of fact checking, cultural sensitivity and corporate communication. The conference will feature more than 50 sessions that cover topics including basic editing, social media and digital editing, job hunting and career development, and workplace leadership, among many others.

The nation’s premier editing conference will host speakers from Merriam Webster, The New York Times and other top organizations, as well as award-winning professors and successful freelance editors. Ben Zimmer, executive producer of the Visual Thesaurus and Vocabulary.com and language columnist for The Wall Street Journal, will deliver the keynote address.

Attendees are encouraged to register before Jan. 31, 2015, to qualify for early bird pricing. Registration is $250 for ACES members and $450 for non-members for three full days of networking and training.
