ASBPE honors 2020 Young Leader Scholarship recipients

ASBPE awarded seven young professionals for this year’s awards.

For 19 years, the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) has honored up-and-coming leaders in the B2B publishing industry with the Young Leader Scholarship (YLS) program.

To receive the scholarship, applicants must be 30 years old or younger, have spent at least two years in the B2B industry and plan on continuing in the industry for their career.

“ASBPE is proud to honor our outstanding winners for their achievements in the B2B media industry,” says Amy Fischbach, president of the ASBPE Foundation, which sponsors the scholarship competition. “They have a bright future ahead of them, and we are honored to recognize them as our Young Leaders.”

The winners were selected by a team of judges including Fischbach, field editor for T&D World magazine of Endeavor Business Media; Travis Stanton, former YLS winner and editor of EXHIBITOR magazine, which won the 2020 Magazine of the Year competition in the over $3 million category; and Paul Heney, vice president and editorial director for WTWH Media and president of Trade Association Business Press International (TABPI).
